Crime prevention :- Garage / Shed Breaks

We are aware of  Shed / Garage Breaks happening in your area. While we work to deal with the incidents here is some crime prevention advice to keep safe.

Recently offenders are targeting addresses where there are push bikes, mopeds, or motorcycles.  Sheds and garages have been broken into and these items have been taken.  

If you own a push bike, moped, or motorcycle please make sure they are locked, ideally with a sturdy lock.  If possible lock your property to something.  Also please make sure that your shed / garage is also locked and secure.  Even parking your car in from of your garage will act as a deterrent.     

Furthermore, shed / garage alarms are also advisory.  If you have a D lock please try and secure your property to something.  If you can put a D lock on the wheels of your vehicle then the offender will not be able to ride away on your property.
